Super bowl Commercial Seriously Crossed the Line

Although I wasn’t the only one who found the Doritos super bowl commercial disgusting and repugnant, I am one of the only people not afraid to talk about it. What’s the difference between Janet Jackson’s exposed breast and a man licking another man’s fingers and pants? Answer: One was live and the other was previously recorded. But my kids didn’t need to see either. Bad taste is bad taste. We as a society continue to digress to the point where capitalism is an anything goes environment controlled by special interests. Did someone really want to sell Doritos bad enough to think an advertisement that disgusting was funny?

Every time I see Doritos I’m going to think about that crazy looking White dude licking that Black guy’s finger. So, it’s unlikely I’ll be buying Doritos anytime soon. Of course advertisers are going to deny the ‘gay’ theme in the commercial. The overt homosexual reference was clear but so was its subliminal homosexual programming. That’s why the religious right is always up in arms and I can’t say that I blame them this time. If it was a woman in the commercial licking fingers and sniffing crotches it would have been left on the cutting room floor. But “guy on guy” action is okay, huh.

I personally don’t want to see a religious commercial during the super bowl no more then I want to see a homosexual advertisement. If homosexuals are indeed behind this awful marketing they should be aware that it caused more harm then good to their cause. The finger licking, crotch sniffer was weird, aggressive and antagonistic. And his unwelcome intrusion into our living rooms is what people are going to remember most. This commercial was funny and spoke completely to the target market for Doritos. have you ever considered the fact that companies have target markets which they have found through intensive research to find their core demographic. First, your homophobic feelings of being grossed out from a guy licking the cheese off of another mans finger already suggests you are over sensitive and in lack of a better term, a pussy. Its not like he had the man licking off the cheese from the other mans lips. Even if so, how many commercials have women licking things off of men's fingers? Homosexuality exsists, and with as much right as heterosexuality does. Secondly, clearly you are someone who does not fit into the target market so they were not creating or airing this commercial for you too like. So instead of knocking on other peoples advertisements how about you take the time and write a few for yourself. post them on here, c'mon I dare ya. I'm sure your self righteous head-up-ass self couldn't come up with something clever if some one held a gun to your head.STOP BEING SO DAMN SENSITIVE.

What the hell is a target market? So they only want certain people reading theory chips? Or is it that open homosexuality is on the rise?
